Integrated care across the islands

At Ohana, care is connected. We bring behavioral health and psychiatry together with primary and pediatric care, so your mind and body are treated as one — what Hawaiian tradition calls lōkahi, balance across mind, body, and ʻohana (family). When providers work as one team, care is safer and more effective: research on integrated behavioral health in primary care has shown substantially better outcomes than fragmented, siloed care (Unützer et al., 2002).

Because a lot of our care is delivered by secure telehealth, that connected model reaches every island — from Oʻahu and Hawaiʻi Island to Maui and Kauaʻi as they open. Behavioral health care can begin by secure video from home, from your very first visit. New primary care patients are seen in person for that first visit — a hands-on exam we can’t do over video — after which many follow-ups can be handled by telehealth.
